The ‘Because We Care Campaign’ reflects the Malawi Ministry of Health’s commitment to hearing the voices of Malawians and building a health system that truly serves their needs. Through the People’s Voice Survey (PVS), a nationally representative study conducted across all regions in Malawi, the Ministry sought to understand people’s real experiences, trust, and satisfaction with healthcare.
The findings will guide actions under the Health Sector Strategic Plan III (2023–2030) to enhance care quality, strengthen public confidence, and move Malawi closer to Universal Health Coverage, because every Malawian deserves care that listens, responds, and improves.
